Go online, look at the company website & see exactly what they do – there may be a list of companies they work with which will give you an idea of the breadth of their work & their clients.
Start your sales call by explaining how your product or service fits with the prospective client’s business or solves a problem you may have identified in your research and you will immediately get the attention of the prospective client.
More information means more sales!
